AIADMK party’s leader and Tamilnadu’s Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palanisamy announced Amma Two Wheeler Scheme for the working woman of Tamil Nadu. With this scheme, women of Tamil Nadu will get a huge amount of subsidy during the purchase of Two-wheeler and Scooter.
This scheme is named with the former Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister Smt Jay Lalita. Jay Lalita was popularly known as “Amma” (அம்மா ) or “Mother” in Tamilnadu.
Amma Two Wheeler Scheme Details
If you are one of the permanent citizens of Tamil Nadu State and planning to buy a two-wheeler bike or Scooty then you can get up to 50% subsidy by using Amma Two-wheeler Scheme. In this scheme, 50% subsidy up to ₹25000 will be provided to the people of Tamilnadu. This scheme is especially for women.

Eligibility Criteria
- You must be a residence of Tamil Nadu State
- The woman’s annual personal income should be less than ₹ 2.50 Lakh
- The minimum age must be 18 Years old and the Maximum Age is 40 Years old.
- The woman must be an employed person
