Objective of Vidhwa Pension Yojana 2021-22

The Indian Union Government has launched the Widow Pension Scheme for the poor Vidhwa of the country. Under this scheme, the state or Central Government will offer financial aid to them.

As per the Indian Constitution Amendment Act 1993, the Widow Pension Yojana will be implemented in the state by the State Government’s Social Welfare Department. Now all the state’s SWD department is accepting, verifying, and granting the Pension amount to the public.

Eligibility Criteria

To avail of this scheme, you must follow the following eligibility criteria:

• The applicant must be a citizen of India.
• The widow women’s age should be between 18 years to 60 years.
• The applicant should not get married again.
• The Vidhwa women’s annual family income should not more than 1.2 Lakh.

Benefits of Vidhwa Pension Plan

The Government is offering a number of benefits for Widow women. Out of them, the financial Widow pension plan is most popular. Under this plan, the state treasury will transfer direct financial help amounting to Rs.300/- to the recipient’s bank account. When the beneficiary reaches the age of 80, the pension amount will increase to Rs.500/-. Additionally, various state Governments give additional money to Vidhwa women. This amount varies from state to state.

State Wise Widow Pension Scheme Lists

All the state Governments are now offering Special Pensions for Vidhwa Women. Women whose husband is dead can avail this Pension plan from their state Government. Here the applicant has to fill an online application with the death certificate of her husband. The state authority will verify their application. After that, the pension amount will be transferred to the beneficiary’s bank account directly. Indira Gandhi National Vidhwa Pension Yojana

Indian Government’s Ministry of Rural Development has launched the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme under the National Social Assistance Program Pension Processing System. Under this scheme, the Union Government will provide flat Rs.300/- as financial help to the below poverty line Vidhwa women. Those who are interested can apply for the pension using the appropriate root.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Must be an Indian Citizen women.
2. Widow Women should be from BPL community family.
3. Applicant’s age should be between 40 years to 59 years.

Uttar Pradesh Vidhwa Pension Yojana

Recently, the Uttar Pradesh Government has launched the UP Vidhwa Pension Yojana. In this scheme, beneficiaries will get a consolidated financial amount of Rs.300/-. The widow woman’s monthly family income should be less than Rs.10000/-. Applicants can apply for this plan by using the official Integrated state pension portal i.e: http://sspy-up.gov.in/. How to Apply UP Vidhwa Pension Scheme?

Step-1: First of all, visit the official UP Integrated Pension Portal. You will land in the Home Page of the portal.

Step-2: Click on the ‘Widow Pension’ Yojana link from the main menu.

Step-3: Now press the “Apply Now” button from the new page.

Step-4: After that, another new web page will open. From here, click “New Entry Date”.

Step-5: Now fill in your personal details, bank details, annual family income, and husband’s death details.

Step-6: Upload passport size photo, and other supporting documents.

Maharastra Widow Pension Yojana

As per the Maharastra Bidhwa Pension yojana 2020, the Maharastra state Government will offer financial AID of flat Rs.600/- to the widow women of Maharsatra. If the women has more than one child, then the Government will provide Rs.900/- financial money. To apply this form, the applicant’s monthly income should not be more than Rs.21000/-. To avail of this program, the applicant’s age should be less than 65 years old.

Rajasthan Widow Pension Yojana

The Rajasthan Widow Pension scheme was launched for the women of the state. The family annual income should be less than Rs.4800/-. All the Widow, Divorced, Abandoned Women are eligible to apply this scheme. The selected widow will get the following amount.
